asheé

Our mission at Ashée is to serve as a vibrant cultural platform that connects and promotes Latin American and European artists. We are committed to fostering cultural and artistic exchange by providing an inclusive space where diverse artistic expressions can flourish and be appreciated by a global audience. Through exhibitions, workshops, and events, we seek to inspire, educate, and enrich people’s lives through art.

In the innovative spirit of Charlotte Perriand, the exhibition Ojo en Abanico celebrates her concept of the eye opening to the world, expanding boundaries and embracing geographies. Perriand not only transformed design, but also carried her gaze across diverse territories, exploring the intersection between culture, space, and movement.

This tribute takes on a special meaning in Zurich, where her love for the Alps resonates as an echo of her sensitivity to landscapes and architecture in dialogue with nature. The exhibition reflects this journey, in which each artist expands their own vision and redefines the territory of art in new latitudes.

The transition from CubaNow Gallery to Asheé Gallery marks a fundamental shift: a platform that promotes all forms of artistic expression, a space where diverse voices converge and new narratives emerge. This evolution aligns with the vision of Andi Schelli, who through the CubArtArtFestival opened paths for borderless artistic representation, as well as with Orlando Borrell’s commitment to establishing a place where creativity flows without limits.

As curator, this journey has been my conviction from the beginning: to build bridges, generate dialogues, and create opportunities for encounters. Ojo en Abanico is the culmination of that vision — a gaze that unfolds, embraces the new, and invites viewers to look beyond.
