Color Intenso is a creative venture founded by Claudia Benkert. It is a sales platform that supports and uplifts small-scale Colombian artisans. We believe in the power of hands to create and transform. Through our products, we reconnect with our artisanal roots and the joy of vibrant colors.
Our offerings include ceramics, leather goods, Wayuu textiles and fashion, scarves, accessories, handmade jewelry, custom PVC sneakers, and interior décor pieces.
Sonia Lanz
I was born in Cuba in 1967, and grew up in various towns and cities, always near the sea. Through a television course on cosmetics in Cuba, I discovered my artistic abilities. I create handmade crafts for people looking to discover something new—without forgetting the traditions of the past, which were the originals, and which still allow us to build upon their beauty today.
My work is defined by a classic and natural style. Beauty is always the central focus. I love things from the past because they were made with great effort, high quality, and a deep sense of aesthetics. I hope to preserve this art with the help of modern tools and continue fighting to safeguard traditions.

Cultural identity is a vital element in every country. It must be emphasized that cultural identity is inevitably shaped by history. That’s why, in this project, we focus on the defining elements of Cuban culture. There are many perspectives from which this concept has been approached—ours is one that centers on Cuban talent.
